History
Our legacy goes back to the year 1946 – an age when the textile industry in India was predominantly dormant. One of the founding principles of our company back then was to set standards in weaving. This vision was achieved by ensuring that the best of weaving technology was always available to us.
Our ability to foresee the growth of the Indian textile industry helped us expand our forte to allied businesses such as spinning.
Today, we are a well-established group with unique capabilities that allow us to cater to exotic constructions in weaving. We have also expanded our capabilities to include special weaves and combinations.
We are a part of the Thiagarajar group, one that is renowned for its ingrained presence in the textile industry. The group also has a distinct identity in different fields.
Infrastructure
258 state-of-the-art looms take pride of place in our manufacturing unit. 80 Sulzer machines, 163 Airjets, 9 Jacquards and 6 Rapier Dobby Looms with POSI LENO Attachment machines work in tandem to produce 1.8 million meters of fabric every month.
We specialise in the manufacture of grey weaving requirements for both the export and domestic markets.
At VTM Limited, we are also equipped with adequate equipment to cater to special fabric manufacturing in fine counts and complex specifications.

Our ISO 9002:2000 certification is endorsed by DNV and certifies that our quality management systems for various yarn specifications complies with the international standard.
Our Quality Assurance Cell oversees every aspect of production – from the sourcing of raw material to the despatch of finished fabric.
An appreciable turnover of our production finds acceptance in the most quality conscious markets across the world. Thus, we ensure that our processes not only meet, but often surpass client expectations.

One Gold Award and three Bronze Awards applauding our outstanding export performance have been bestowed on us by the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL) – a body sponsored by the Government of India.
